From 4500' up the Southwestern slope of Volcan Baru, the Janson family farm produces this rich, full-bodied coffee with a deep, sweet quality and nutty notes. Weeding is done by hand to avoid the use of herbicides, and the soil is fertilized with natural micro-organisms and the coffee cherries’ own fertile pulp to sustainably protect the farm.
